On Wednesday 29 March 12 children and their parents from Holy Trinity Church joined us for an Easter Egg Hunt. Students from year 9 and 10 looked after the children and helped them to decorate and make an Easter basket. After the tea party, the children were led to the front lawns of the school to hunt for eggs. It was marvelous to see the children searching between the bushes for the hidden eggs and their excitement each time they found one. The year 9 and 10 students really engaged with the children and made them feel at ease in their company. The parents had nothing but praise for our girls for organising such a happy and fun event for their children.
Well done and thank you to Shanara, Ashanta, Chevonese and Elisha in year 9. Also to Racheal, Yulissa, Courtney, Deborah and Renee in year 10. A big thank you to Ms Pryce for her face painting skills!
