Consultation on admissions

CONSULTATION ON ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS:  9 DECEMBER 2020 TO 20 JANUARY 2021

The school is consulting on its admission arrangements for 2022-23.  The proposed changes affect foundation places only and relate to the church attendance requirement.  Please see the proposed admission arrangements, supplementary information form and clergy form.

Admission arrangements

  1. In respect of foundation places only, which are for children of regular worshipping members of a Christian Church, the school proposes to reduce the time that parent(s) or carer(s) together with their child need to have been ‘practising’ from ‘at least three years’ to ‘at least two years’.

  2. An additional note has been added in the footnotes regarding church attendance, to cover exceptional cases where unavoidable circumstances have prevented a parent/carer and child from attending Church at least fortnightly and for at least two years.

No other changes are proposed apart from the annual changes required to the dates.

Supplementary Form

No other changes are proposed apart from the annual changes required to the dates.
