To safeguard the health of the teaching workforce and keep as many staff and students in school as possible, the Government has made rapid lateral flow coronavirus (COVID-19) tests available to schools. In this section you will find information on how St Martin’s will support the Government's programme of testing in schools. This will work alongside other infection prevention and control measures we have in place, such as social distancing, hand and respiratory hygiene, the wearing of face coverings, that can help us manage the transmission of the virus and keep us all in school safely.

Please read the documents on this page including information on Data Protection, the Privacy Notice and the Frequently Asked Questions about Asymptomatic Testing. These have all been updated (10 February 2021) to reflect the changes that have recently been made to elements of the test programme, including the pausing of contact testing and confirmatory PCR tests. You can find out more about the changes in the FAQs and on the Government website. You will also be able to complete an online Registration/Consent Form. Please contact the school if you need further information or want to talk to a member of staff about the asymptomatic testing programme.
