Old Vic drama workshop

St Martin's was delighted to welcome a team from the Old Vic to run a drama workshop in our Drama Studio.  The purpose was to enable students to explore the different types of theatrical staging and to deepen their understanding of the context of ‘A Christmas Carol’.  The workshop also enabled participants to give careful consideration to the audience experience and the importance of workers' rights.

Students went on to see a matinee production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ the next day which helped them to maintain the festive spirit into the New Year. They also were taken with the immersive style of the production.
