UCL GeoBus workshop

KS3 students enjoyed taking part in a GeoBus workshop run by University College London.  They had the opportunity to learn about the consequences of global warming, especially the impact this has on sea levels.  They learnt that the ice that melting land ice has a greater impact on sea levels than icebergs already in the sea.  Reflecting on this workshop, one student said, 'My experience in the Geo bus workshop was very fun as I learnt the consequences of climate change through experiments such as acidic water and an increase of carbon dioxide. It taught us to be more aware of our environment and take care of it before it’s too late.'
