Y9 Business Workshop

MyKindaFuture are partnering with Dentsu Aegis Network a global media group that specialises in media, digital and creative communications services. Recently, we worked with Dentsu UK to deliver a Year 9 workshop - the session was run by a member of Dentsu's staff so this was a great opportunity for students to hear directly from people working in the sector and get a head start in the digital economy. 

The purpose of the workshop was to increase the understanding of this industry and to inspire young people to consider it as part of their future career path. 

The session delved into the advertising and media world,   and the types of skill sets, backgrounds and personalities that make these organisations a success. Dentsu UK are keen to attract students from all backgrounds allowing them the opportunity to hear real time about the exciting career opportunities in a sector they may not normally consider. 

The workshop lasted for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Students worked in groups to develop office space. This allowed the students to be creative within a very specific brief. Dentsu UK are looking to develop a longer-term partnership with a number of schools, so we very much look forward to being involved in further exciting initiatives.
