Visit to Goldsmiths

This week, a group of Year 10 students went to Goldsmiths University in order to experience what a day at university is really like.  The students spent the morning in a workshop. The main morning task was to design a business plan for a festival with no financial constraints and present their proposals to the other groups. In the afternoon, they attended a seminar which focused on labelling in society. This was an extremely informative session in which the students were impressed by how articulate some of the participants were, some of whom were at university. The day was rounded off with a guided tour which included lecture theatres, library, canteen and cinema. A great day out. A very big thank you to Goldsmiths University for hosting such an informative and enjoyable day.
