Seniors Lunch

On Thursday, 13 December, we welcomed a group of Senior Citizens from our local community for a Christmas lunch. This is our fourth Senior Citizen lunch and again, it was a truly joyous occasion. Our guests enjoyed a Christmas meal with all the trimmings and after desert, we all joined in with medley of Christmas songs, including all the 'old favourites'! The lunch was hosted by a group of Year 10 students who served our guests and looked after them very well. A speech was made on behalf of the seniors who gave their thanks to us for inviting them to join us.  After lunch the seniors joined us for our Christingle service and were given a small gift to remember their day with us. We very much look forward to doing it all again next Christmas!
