Jack Petchey Award

Well done to all the Year 13 students nominated for the Jack Petchey Achievement award.  It was a very close result with just one vote in it.  The winning student was chosen for being motivational to her peers in the Sixth Form as well as to younger students.  Her willingness to help others is admirable amongst her friends.  She has been described by her friends as uplifting, kind-hearted and hard working.  The Year 13 Jack Petchey winner for 2019 is Ophelia.  Congratulations!

Her citation reads, 'Ophelia has worked consistently hare and goes above and beyond to ensure that she achieves her full potential.  She is an active member of the student leadership team and is an excellent role model to both her peers and students lower down the school.  She is one of the co-founders of our Sixth Form Christian Union and helps to lead the spiritual life of the Sixth Form.
