A Teacher’s Poem

Everyday you greet your students with a smile upon your face.
Money is not your motivation, it’s the love for what you do.
You hear that special calling to which you always will stay true.
Your students are your dedication, devotion is to them.
To you each child’s unique and special, a beautiful little gem.
Some days are just demanding and frustration takes its course.
Then you see those little faces, their inspiration is your force.
Each day you’re in your classroom (or home) reminds you why you’re there.
Making differences in children's lives with whom your heart you share.
There’s a  special pride in teachers, and a love for what you do.
And appreciation always shared between those little lives and you!

A poem to my wonderful teachers

This may not be a rhyme poem,
And this may not be the best poem you’ve ever read
Since the beginning at St Martin’s,
I knew my teachers would support me in every decision I made.
My teachers are supportive, understanding and caring
They are the people that God put in my life,
To help me through my struggles
The people that teach me the unfortunate reality
Of life.
I want to thank my dear teachers,
Simply for wishing me their best
For taking their time out to make me learn new things
And lastly and especially for being positive
Patient and creative at all times
When everything felt dull and hopeless
They will always try their best for us to get sense in our lives
And to live better when we are adults just like them.
Thank you

Annette

Teachers

We may seem to get annoyed by them,
Ignore them,
Roll our eyes at them.
But they still love us.
They support us no matter what.
They keep trying.
Think about it.
20 years from now,
Kids, husband.
Education.
Who’s given you that?
That’s right.
Teachers.
You should be thankful.
You should be grateful.
Because without them,
You wouldn’t be the person you are today.
And that’s a fact.
