Senior Citizens Lent Lunch

On Tuesday 28 March students from year 10 and 11 hosted 9 senior citizens from Holy Trinity Church for a Lent lunch. On arrival they visited our Prayer Space. They really felt the power of the sanctuary of the space, two guests said they could have stayed there for the entire afternoon. Our guests were served a roast turkey or vegetarian lunch and a scrumptious dessert.  Our girls were great ambassadors for the school. They sat and ate with the guests and enjoyed having conversation with them.  The guests thanked the girls for looking after them so well and said they were a credit to the school.Thank you to Josephine and Jessica in year 9  and to year 11 students Zainab, Head Girl and Peace, Deputy Head Girl. for being such excellent hosts.
