St Martin's students recently took part in UK Junior Maths challenge. The exam was aimed at students in secondary schools who are interested in tackling stimulating problems, such as those posed in the Mathematical Challenges administered by the UKMT and similar organisations. The challenge gave the students the chance to demonstrate their problem solving skills and were able to compete with other students of their age nationally.

Amy Tamera (Year 8) achieved a Silver certificate for being the best student in the school and in her year group.  Assale Gonzale (Year 8) and Mariam Bangura (Year 7) both achieved bronze certificates.
