Prize Giving

Back to Latest News

On Monday 11th December, we held our annual Prize-Giving Ceremony joined by family members, friends, staff and Governors.  We welcomed back former students and were delighted to have Leanne Armitage, a former St Martin's Head Girl, as our guest speaker.  The order of proceedings was beautifully punctuated by performances by Ana Neves, Peace Jolayemi and the St Martin's Choir.  Ana's assured solo violin performance of Dvořak's Humoresque, Peace's stirring performance of her poem "Opaque" and the choir's emotional rendition of Mary, Did You Know? showcased St Martin's talented students at their best.  We were all visibly delighted as we watched a stream of young people shaking Leanne's hand and receiving their prizes.  Her inspiring speech gave excellent advice for the future to all the students.  Congratulations to all students who collected a prize, we applaud you.

Prizes for our four values were awarded to the following students: Huila for Service, Caris for Compassion, Luna for Justice and Sarah for Perseverance (photos below).  Congratulations to all students who collected a prize, we applaud you.
