MEND are at St Martin’s. The MEND foundation (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, DO IT!) is one of the largest evidence based healthy lifestyle programs whose mission is to inspire teenagers to sustain fitter, healthier and happier lives. The focus of MEND is to change modern day behaviours which increase the likelihood of teenagers becoming overweight or obese. 

MEND are currently working with all Year 8 and Year 9 classes during PE lessons until the Easter holidays.

The MEND programme is fantastic. Students are beginning to become more conscious on the importance of maintaining a balanced, active and healthy lifestyle. Students are being introduced to new sports such as handball and are receiving cooking lessons on how to prepare simple, healthy meals at home.
