St Martin’s Choir at Dulwich Community Fair

Our school choir were the opening act at the 4-All Community Fair on Saturday 22nd September. The fair, held at All Saints Church, West Dulwich, brought together charities, community organisations, artists and traders to build community spirit in our local area.

The choir enjoyed singing folk song  ‘Long Time Traveller’ as well as two of our favourite hymns, ‘Oceans’ and ‘Our God is Awesome’. We had solo singers, and one of our students accompanied the singing on the guitar.

“It is so great to see young people doing something positive and sharing their talent, they were really good!” said one audience member.

This is going to be an exciting year for Music at St Martin's as we have just enrolled our very first group of Music Award Scholars and look forward to more opportunities to perform both in school and further afield.
