KS3 Carol Service

The whole of KS3 took part in the annual St Martin's Carol Service, held at Holy Trinity church. Surrounded by candlelight, it was a warming and special part of our Christmas celebrations. Readers from across the different year groups retold the Christmas story from the Gospels and we all enjoyed singing traditional Christmas carols. The school choir treated us to beautiful performances of seasonal songs 'The Star', 'Shepherd's Joy' and 'Some Day at Christmas'. The whole congregation sang a gospel rendition of Silent Night, featuring the vocals of St Martin's Worship Singers. We were joined by many parents and also the members of the Holy Trinity Social Club who said afterwards that it had really made their day to be invited to the service.
