Miss World at St Martin's

This is what Miss Jamaica crowned Miss World said when she received her crown, "To that little girl in St. Thomas, Jamaica and all the girls around the world - please believe in yourself.  Please know that you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown is not mine but yours, you have a purpose."

We were ecstatic when Toni-Ann Singh came to St Martin's with Julia Morley, the founder of the Miss World contest, and Baroness Floella Benjamin.  Miss World gave an inspirational talk to our students and also shared her wonderful singing voice with us.  She also brought gifts from all the Miss World contestants, a wonderful collection of books for our library.  Thank you Miss World for inspiring our girls and making this a Christmas for them to remember.
