National lockdown 2021

Back to Latest News

At 8:00pm on Monday 5 January 2021 the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson addressed the nation announcing a Stay at Home message and a National Lockdown. The government said “You should follow the new rules from now, and they will become law in the early hours of Wednesday morning”.  As a result of this, all schools have been closed and students will learn remotely from home.

St Martin's will be closed to most students until at least February half term. However, we will be open with onsite learning for the key groups only: students who are vulnerable and those who are students of families of critical workers. The government has provided a list of who can access school and educational settings.  If you meet the criteria, please complete the booking form so that we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your child in school.

Visit the Home Learning page on our website and also the COVID-19 page for further updates.

Please only call the school in an emergency as we only have a skeleton staff on site daily. The school number to use is  020 8674 5594 or email

If you have a safeguarding concern please contact Mrs Wilson the Designated Safeguarding Lead on or Ms Baird the Deputy Safeguarding Lead on or contact the school on 020 8674 5594.
