Service of Celebration

We are so delighted that Ms Okokon was formally welcomed to her post as our new Headteacher at St Martin's in a service at Southwark Cathedral on October 20th. As a Church of England secondary school, St Martin’s is part of a wider family of church schools in the Diocese of Southwark, and this service was a celebration and blessing for all schools at the beginning of this new academic year.

Three of our Year 11 students  were asked to take part in the service, serving as acolytes and crucifer, carrying candles and the cross for the procession into the service with the Bishops and clergy. Thank you girls for representing our school so wonderfully.
