Good News for Everyone

St Martins was delighted to welcome John Nash from Good News For Everybody, formerly known as The Gideons, to a special assembly for Years 7 and 8.

Mr Nash gave a presentation all about the Bible, what a special book it is and the way in which reading the Bible can give wisdom and guidance for people in all kinds of situations. Did you know that at least some portion of the Bible has been translated into 3415 languages? It was originally written in three different languages and consists of 66 books collected together into the Old and New Testaments

The girls were each given their own copy of the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. We hope that reading God’s word will provide inspiration and wisdom for them as they go through their lives.
