Step Into Dance

On Friday 21 April, a group of Year 8 dance students had the opportunity to compete against a number of other schools in a dance battle at Burntwood High School. 

The organisers of the evening were Step Into Dance, a partnership between the Jack Petchey Foundation and the Royal Academy of Dance. Step into Dance is the UK's largest fully inclusive secondary school dance programme, providing extra-curricular classes and performance opportunities to hundreds of schools across London and Essex.    

Congratulations to St Martin's Dance Group who were highly commended on their dance, positive attitude and exemplary behaviour. We are still waiting to see if they have made it through to the next round.
