Earlier this term, a group of Year 10 students went to the Young Vic theatre to watch a musical interpretation of Twelfth Night. This trip was part of a programme designed to expose GCSE English and Drama students to a range of theatrical experience and play texts.
Students loved the production. They found it incredibly engaging and highly enjoyable. The musical genre made Shakespeare's plot accessible, so much so the students did not want the production to end - 'Isn't not finished, is it?' being a common response.
The students are thankful to Ms Koroma and Ms DeFreitas, who accompanied them on the trip.
