A group of Year 10 and 11 GCSE Drama students recently visited the Young Vic to watch a production of ‘Blood Wedding’ by acclaimed theatre director Yaël Farber. This gave students the opportunity to experience a variety of live theatre performances in this immersive adaptation of Federico Garcia Lorca's famous tragedy. Students loved the production, and greatly appreciated the intensity of the ensemble’s performance and the creative use of the design elements. They would highly recommend that you go to see this performance before it ends its run at the Young Vic.
Responding to a live performance is part of the GCSE Drama Component 3 written examination paper.
