During this period of lockdown, students were given the opportunity to design a poster or write a poem to thank the NHS and Key Workers. We plan to display these on the railings at the front of school.
Sarah then entered a ‘Design a Banner’ competition. This competition was open to children across the country and their design, based on the theme of thanking the NHS and Key Workers, would be made into a banner to hang outside their school. Although Sarah did not win, and we know it’s more about taking part than winning, we were pleased that out of over 2,100 entries, her design made it to the gallery on the FSE Design website. You can view her entry in the gallery by visiting FSE Design's Banner Competition.
FSE design will not be making Sarah’s design (below) into a banner, but we will be. I will let you know when this has been done and ready to hang proudly outside the front of our school. Sarah is a student in Year 11.
Congratulations Sarah and from all of us, a big well done.
