Prize Giving 2016

On Monday 12th December, we held our annual Prize-Giving Ceremony joined by family members, friends, staff and Governors.  We welcomed back former students and were fortunate to have the Chairwoman of Mediacom, Karen Blackett OBE, as our guest speaker.  The order of proceedings was beautifully punctuated by performances by Thalia, who, with strong and powerful vocals, sang, the Greatest Love of All followed by Ana who had everyone on the edge of their seats as she played .on the violin.  We were all visibly delighted as we watched a stream of young people shaking Karen Blackett's hand and receiving their prizes.  Her inspiring speech gave sound advice for the future to all the students.  This year the Prize Giving Ceremony was even more special as we introduced, for the first time, prizes for our four values.  These were awarded to the following students: Courtney Shittu, for Service, Ines da Silva for Compassion, Zainab Gill, Justice and Tessy Ijiekhuanhen for Perseverance.  Congratulations to all students who collected a prize, we applaud you.
