Fundraising for the BHF

With the direction of Ms Grant, the Year Sports Council organised a week long fundraising event in support of the British Heart Foundation.  The PE Department hosted a week of fun activities with prizes for all the winners. Activities included Skip-a-thon, an Obstacle Race for both staff and students and a 'Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar' competition.  A big thank you to everyone who took part, your generous donations raised a total of £202.45.

Skip-a-Thon winners:

Year 9 winner - Marieke 110 skips

Year 8 winner - Nana 132 skips

Year 7 winner - Jaydine 165 skills

Obstacle Race winners:

Year 9 winner - Marieke 49.86 secs

Year 8 winner - Ruth 46.70 secs

Year 7 winner - Blessed 44.71 secs

Staff winner - Mr Marshall 50.82 secs

Staff winner - Ms Beckford 57.70 secs

We had joint winners for guess the sweets in the jar - Esther and Rachel in Year 9.
