Harvest Festival

On Friday 30th September 2016, we celebrated Harvest. Thank you to St Martin's girls for their Harvest Gifts to the Gaia Centre, Lambeth. 

The Gaia Centre is a confidential, non-judgemental and independent support services for those living in the London borough of Lambeth who are experiencing gender-based violence.

Marcela, from the Gaia Centre spoke to the girls in assembly and shared a moving story of how the Gaia Centre supported a young mother who fled with nothing, from domestic violence with her two small children. 

When the harvest gifts were presented, Marcela said to our girls "I am overwhelmed with your generosity and the help that your gifts will give to the young women and children who seek refuge."
