Students enrolled on the Stellar programme, our programme for St Martin’s highest achievers in Years 8-11,  experienced the first talk of our Polaris Lecture Series delivered by Christina Blacklaws, Immediate Past President of the Law Society of England and Wales with over 25 years of experience within the legal profession.Christina shared with us her impressive CV and discussed her experience as a family lawyer, her passion for innovation and her advocacy of women in leadership. As well as the use of technology within the legal profession and its ethical implications.  Students found the frankness with which she spoke about the challenges women may face whilst working in the legal profession refreshing.

The Polaris Lecture Series gives our students the opportunity to participate in talks and lectures delivered by a variety of inspiring academics and  professionals throughout the academic year.
